Service is out standing so my advice to anyone looking around for a board is you can't go past Sanbah ......a lot of other surf shops could take note of the way sanbah operate.......helpful, friendly and professional

Received a damaged item (damaged in transit) and Sanbah were straight on top of arranging a replacement. Received replacement quickly and with no fuss.

Couldn’t recommend these guys enough my father in law and I haven’t surfed since teenagers. Getting back into the hobby it’s changed so much. Firstly, every purchase I have made with Sanbah has been met with the best customer service and any queries I've submitted have been answered almost immediately. I'm from WA so these are interstate purchases. I can't recommend them highly enough.
The Sub Xero I purchased arrived 5 days earlier than the due delivery date, for which I was most grateful and surprised. It was very securely packaged and there was no hint of any mistreatment and no damage whatsoever. (They were the only store I could find that had my size in stock, that's why the interstate purchase)
I put a set of Mick Fanning (H4 style) Twins +1 in the Sub Xero - haven't tried any other set and don't plan to at this stage. The first surf I had on it was on a beachie - it was one of those surfs where you seem to be always in the wrong place but towards the end I got a handful of slightly overhead lefts. The first one I was dismayed because the board felt so different to what I've been riding and I didn't have a handle on it. After another two my confidence was growing and I started throwing it into late take-offs. The last wave I got I had opportunity to do a bottom turn into re-entry. Wow, the board shot straight up into the lip and came around so fast and down to the bottom I was actually shocked. The thing is so direct and turns on a dime... the fins weren't out the back of the wave but even so it was surprising how positive the turn was, no unwanted slide. I was stoked.
My last session was over 6hrs on an uncrowded right hand reef break, mostly head high - little over on the biggest ones... the waves throw on a very shallow head and then are kinda semi-soft. After a few waves I started doing lightning fast whippy carves, really surprising how fast the board comes back and maintains speed - it's a little rocket. (There was a much younger guy out there trying to do the same thing and he kept falling off - nowhere near the same zing in his board)
When I pumped it tic-tac style it was almost throwing me off - it's so reactive. Honestly, it's more difficult to ride than other boards I've had in recent years (if your weight isn't centered along the nose-tail line you'll instantly veer one way or the other and it'll over-correct very easily lol) but I feel like I'm ripping on it and it's only going to get better as I get more accustomed to it. It's super exciting and I'm frothing to get more waves on it. I reckon that it'll be my daily driver unless the surf is going to be DOH. Can't believe a board touted as a small wave groveller has so much performance - could be the fins. Don't really care haha... big thumbs up :)
EDIT: There's a minor depression on the deck but that happens to almost all my boards because I'm pretty knee-heavy duck diving and I'm a heavy guy - I'm happy with the Hyfi construction :)

Great service

The G Brothers have really promoted this board as an all rounder. A board which performs in decent waves as well as the "not so good". I havent found this to be the case. It definitely does not go in crappy waves. It doesnt glide over dead sections and i find it actually bogs down. Im 5'9, 70kgs and bought the 5'8 as i wanted a good paddling, dead section gliding board.This is neither. If you are after a groveller dont be sucked in by the G Bros hype. Hopefully it performs in bigger waves

I bought the 6'7" with Future EN fins. Such a nice board to ride. Paddles well. Easy getting into waves. Maneuverable. Glides over flatter sections. I think this board will really come to life surfing a point break or in bigger winter swells, but goes well in the local beachies too.

Brook at Sanbah provided excellent customer service on my board purchase. He was quick to respond and took the issues seriously and thoughtfully. He was a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely trust Sanbah again for my next board! The board itself is also a dream and surfs beautifully!
